Hey Everyone!!
I’m pretty excited about my first blog because it’s where I can update you all about my music and give you an insider of what I do. I want to first introduce myself to you all my names Priscilla and I am a singer/songwriter. I’m 14 years old from North London and I have a BIG passion for music and I want to pursue a professional career in singing.
I started singing when I was the age of 7 from there I knew this was something I wanted to do and something I believed I could do very well, so I took my time and money to start going to different performing clubs and having small singing lessons and doing everything I possibly could do to have experience and learn more about singing and different types of music. Practice practice practice is always what I’ve been told makes it near to perfect. The more I got older the more I took it to different levels like going to the recording studio and getting songs together and learning about vocal ranges and studio equipment. Since my first song I wrote I’ve written many others which can be heard at my Myspace page at : www.Myspace.com/Priscillaonline were I post most of my songs I work on. Some of you may have heard me on the talented young people podcast where my song Not Ok was played; you can expect to hear more songs on the Myspace.
Recently I have just recorded a song called ”Lost for words” Ft Smoothz, a young rapper also from London you can check him out at: www.myspace.com/smoothzkid. This year I hope to audition for X factor 2008! An opportunity I’ve been dieing to try out since I heard the age was lowered.
Even though this is my very first blog please keep coming back and checking up on the updates !For every young person out their with a dream just like me I will give advice and help for anyone who wants to achieve and believe in what they can do. Also more about my music will be posted up.
